Welcome to the "Cruising Yachts" Sitering.

list of member websites HERE
This sitering is a GREAT way to increase
your website visitor traffic.
Share visitor traffic for free.
This Webring is a collection of (non commercial) cruising yacht
(sail) websites and narratives within a 'ring' to enable
visitors to easily find similar boating and sailing websites
with stories to tell on the internet. Commercial
websites such as charter yachts, stores, books, brokers, etc.,
are NOT accepted.
A condition of membership of the sitering is that
you display the small 'webring control panel' in a prominent
position on your website entry page/homepage (not a 'flash'
page). This is in
fairness to ALL the members of the ring so that
visitors have the option to proceed to other
websites on the "list" in the ring. Should you wish
to remove the webring controls your URL will be
removed from the ring "list". Kindly assist the
ringmaster AND the other members of the ring by
reporting any site on the list which does not
display the Webring Controls on the site's entry page.
You can also place a second panel on
your "Links" page to easily increase the number of
interesting optional links for your visitors (a panel on your
entry page is still necessary).
When you join you will
receive an html code snippet of the sitering 'control panel'
by e-mail to (very easily) copy/paste onto your entry page -
this will already have your own site ID number built in.
Below are a few alternatives which you could use if you
wish. Using these alternatives will however require you to
change the ID number (five places) within the html code
snippet to the ID number issued to you by e-mail on joining.
NB. Only once you have joined
the sitering and (very easily) placed
the Webring Controls on your website (entry page) can your
website URL be registered on the "list". When the
control panel is in place please e-mail the
ringmaster ( bob@cruiser.co.za
) quoting your website address and Webring ID to
have your site listed (normally within 36hrs.).
If you are unable to find the time to do this within 10 days,
your application will expire. Simply re-apply when you have
the time and a new site ID number will be allocated to you. If
you have difficulty doing this (very easy) copy/paste
procedure then ask your webmaster to do it for you (two
minutes).
If you have not yet
joined the Sitering you can join from HERE.
You MUST join FIRST to get registered within the ring and
receive an e-mailed ID number - then add the sitering panel to
your page.
(ONLY non-commercial "Cruising
Yachts" (sail) websites with a story to tell are accepted)
Please contact webmaster@cruiser.co.za
should you
experience any difficulties.
